High-pressure pump electromechanical integration customized product development successfully completed (Special specifications: dual-pump multi-outlet water delivery + pressure constant Coolant System ).

In the field of high-pressure fluid technology, AF-TECH has developed its own High Pressure Through-Spindle Coolant System products. With the production and sales experience gained in recent years,  AF-TECH has gradually begun to stand out in this industry. Recently, we received a request from a client in the electronics industry who hopes we can customize a Coolant System specifically for them to achieve improvements in machining accuracy, cooling of processing temperatures, uninterrupted operation, and consistent pressure.After receiving this customization request, our company began close communication with the client. After thoroughly understanding their needs, we officially entered the development phase.

 

Due to the customer's special specifications, which differ significantly from the standard product specifications of AF-TECH, we must start from the design phase. The custom aspects that need to be considered include special sheet metal specifications, the number of outlets and their corresponding pressure and flow rate, as well as the necessary inlet and return piping configurations for a dual-pump structure. The development and manufacturing process, which requires consideration from multiple angles, is a significant test of the technical staff's expertise and communication skills. For instance, it involves issues such as the spatial arrangement of each component during assembly, problems to consider when having ten outlets, and ensuring the overall stability of the operation, among others.

This product is designed to pursue stability during operation by installing a nitrogen gas cylinder inside the machine to prevent the occurrence of water hammer effects. Additionally, a unique requirement from the customer is to maintain the pressure constant at 70 bar, regardless of how the ten water outlets of the product are being used. To meet the customer's request, we have installed a precise differential pressure switch, which is connected to the PLC to achieve the function of constant pressure control. Furthermore, we considered that the method of power transmission between the motor and the pump would also affect stability, so we adopted a direct coupling drive instead of a belt-driven system, ensuring that the efficiency brought by each operation of the motor can be stably output.

 

Thanks to the efforts of our technical team, we successfully completed the development, and the product has now arrived at the location specified by the customer. We will continue to proactively monitor the customer's usage conditions and pay attention to whether the performance meets their expectations. If there are any adjustments needed in the future, we will spare no effort in providing relevant technical consulting and assistance to ensure that our customers can use the products developed by AF-TECH with confidence and peace of mind.
